YOUNG boxers put on a powerful show as Dorchester Amateur Boxing Club held a special open evening at the Territorial Army Centre.
The club is on the verge of moving to new premises and invited along interested parties and potential supporters to find out more about the club.
A group of 30 youngsters put on a display of their skills to impress the guests.
Chairman Mary Penfold said: "We had various business people coming and people we hoped would support us, it was an
excellent evening.
"The lads went through their whole regime, they did their work outs and we had a couple of matches."
The club has all but agreed a move to a new home and they are now hoping to raise funds for the move.
Mrs Penfold added: "We are very grateful to the TA centre who have enabled us to practice there over the years."
