TA set for 50th year celebration
A GRAND reunion of Dorset's Territorial Army will be held later this month.
It is being staged by The Rifles as part of TA centenary celebrations - called TA 100.
Former members of all ranks will descend on Dorchester's TA centre in the first get-together of its kind in 30 years.
Capt Paul Cobbold, permanent staff administrative officer, said: "The landmark of TA 100 offered the perfect opportunity to stage the event in real style. Already we know that virtually every company commander of the past three or four decades will be present."
The reunion will be held on May 31 from 4.30pm.
