Easter Egg Hunt at Hardy’s Monument

Open on Saturday and Sunday over Easter weekend this trail is filled with nature-inspired activities along with a special Admiral Hardy twist.

Prices are £3 per trail which includes an easter Trail sheet, bunny ears and a dairy or vegan chocolate egg.

Easter trail at Sherborne Castle

A family fun trail has been set up in the gardens surrounding the castle which allows children to discover Easter bunnies and solve clues along the way.

Prizes are available from the ticket box at the end of the trail and fancy dress is very much reccomened.

Over the weekend Into Coffee will be serving coffee, cakes, savouries, and gluten free treats as well.

Easter Egg-stravaganza at Monkey World

If you are bringing your own cheeky monkey to to Monkey World then they have an easter treat ready and waiting for you.

Not only can you spend the day visiting the 260 rescued and endangered monkeys at the sanctuary, but a free egg-trail has been set up for the whole of Easter weekend – all they have to do is solve all the clues to get a chocolate treat.

Monkey World are even offering a 10 percent discount if you book online.

Easter egg trail at Upwey Wishing Well

For just £4 children can enjoy this trail set to the idyllic backdrop of Upwey at the Wishing Well Tea Rooms.

The entry fee includes a chocolate egg and an interactive trail sheet, and there is even a prize for the best fancy dress.

This one doesn’t open until Easter Monday but is open throughout half term.

Mapperton Estate rewilding Easter trail

The estate, near Beaminster, opens on Easter Sunday with an Easter themed rewilding trail, allowing youngsters to discover the wonders of Mapperton Wildlands.

They can learn more about Mapperton’s beavers, Woody and Twiggy, Tamworth pigs, Exmoor ponies, White Park Cattle and nature restoration efforts.

Booking a garden ticket gives access to the Trail, which runs until April 11.

Littlemoor Easter Egg Hunt

The Big 4 Littlemoor community group has set up an easter egg hunt across the neighbourhood with nine notice boards and fill out some easter related questions.

The hunt is free but you have to collect a form from Top Club in Littlemoor in order to find the locations and eggs will be handed out at the community groups Springtime Community Day on April 3.
