Paramedics from South Western Ambulance Service were seen tending to Hayley in the away section of the crowd before the game was brought to a halt after 77 minutes.

Around 15 minutes later, a Dorset and Somerset air ambulance landed on the centre spot of the pitch however soon took off again.

It was believed that the game could continue following the departure of the air ambulance, however at 3.42pm, the football club announced that the game had been abandoned due to a medical emergency.

Both clubs have been in contact with the footballing body the National League regarding rescheduling the game.
